History

As the oldest, continuously running film festival in North American history, we have quite a lengthy story. Beginning in 1950 with the formation of the Film Council leading to our upcoming festival in 2025.

Film Submission

We have closed submissions for the 2025 festival. However, we will be opening submissions for the 2025 festival on May 21st, 2025.

 
 

2025 Festival

The 2025 Festival is our 73nd. The festival screenings will be held on April 26th, 2025 from 12 noon to 7 pm eastern. Get tickets for the live screening here
